Smart cookies

Maren and Linden are learning so much, and getting so good at things. I was so impressed with Linden’s creativity when she made this “snowman” the other day: 

She is also trying to read everything she sees these days. She can’t actually read anything but simple words, but that doesn’t stop her from trying. 

Maren is able to read all sorts of books, instructions, and anything else she happens to see. She reads books to all of us. 

 We walked past a car the other day that had a sticker in the window reading “fuck you Ezekiel.” She read it, and got so hung up on how to pronounce Ezekiel that she forgot about the first part and we didn’t have to explain it. But there are definitely awkward times to come, now that we have a proficient reader 🤣
