Aaaand it’s summer

 In Saskatchewan we have a very short spring, and it is already summer. We have had a bit of smoke from wildfires blowing in, but even though it looks a little cloudy it is warm, bordering on too hot. We have been spending a lot of time outside:

And today was the Victoria Day holiday, and the kickoff of our local arts festival, https://cvaf.ca/, where we watched a parade and picnicked in the park while listening to live music. We met up with friends, and after a while went back to their house where the kids ran through the sprinkler, ate popsicles and spent all afternoon outside. Then barbecue for dinner, followed by a trip to the park. Those long summer days have arrived! Unless next week brings winter back, which is not unheard of around here, but we won’t think about that 🤣
