On Friday morning Puck knocked my pillbox onto the floor, broke it open, and ate two nortriptylene pills, which I take for neuropathic pain. We immediately called the vet, then pet poison control, then were told to take him to the vet right away, which we did. The vet told Jeff that likely there would be no problem, but they wanted to keep Puck for monitoring. However, he had a very strong reaction to the medication, and an atypical reaction, and more or less almost died. He made it through the worst and is home now, but is not really acting like himself. We are hoping that he is just recovering, and will be back to normal soon.
Otherwise it has been a fairly normal week, except that it snowed today. The snow will likely melt, but it is not long before we have constant winter weather. Last week it was warm, and you could be outside without a jacket, and today winter showed up. The kiddos loved the snow and spent hours playing outside today though!
And my monkeys will always be my monkeys ❤️
