Dancing and swinging

 Somewhere Linden must have heard the phrase singing and dancing, but misunderstood it as swinging and dancing. So here she is:

The weather has been crazy over the past week, going from a high of 33°C to a high of 5°C in two days. People here say that the month of May is called May because it may be hot, it may flood, it may snow, it may freeze, etc. 

So we made popsicles one day because it was hot, and baked muffins the next day because it was cold and having the oven on sounded cozy. We managed to plant our garden this weekend, which will forever feel super late to me (because in Oregon some things would have been planted months ago) but is right on time for here.

This afternoon Maren wanted to play inside and made up her own extremely complicated game. 

When it came time to play, she adjusted the rules slightly so that it was playable. We tied :-)
